Plan around access

Lay out what you expect to use and group it by when you need it. Keep gloves, headwear, and a weather layer easy to reach without emptying a bag.

Keep dry items together

Use appropriate protected storage for spare clothing and other items that need to stay dry. Check closures at home and separate wet gear after the outing.

Make the return simple

Use the same packing order each time. Before leaving the blind, check your small-item pockets and pack out what you brought. This is an organization guide, not a complete waterfowl safety checklist.
